“Ornaments serve to transport us from the mundane, to the eternal; to the divine.”

Madeline is a multi faceted artist that is enamoured with the root systems of old story and mythology. Every piece is made in her home studio, slowly and intentionally while she also navigates motherhood with her two small children Aurelius and Edith.

Her jewellery practice was a hobby picked up 4 years ago pregnant with her firstborn that grew into what you see today as she tries to touch the idea of "thinly veiled places" - Animistic, ecological, cosmic and mythic spaces and experiences.

Madeline uses undefined esoteric symbolism thats been recycled and composted over multiple civilisations into myth and ancient unconscious truths.

As Jospeh Campbell says “Myth is much more important and true than history. History is just journalism and you know how reliable that is.”

  • Being a complete self taught jeweller she has discovered her own unique style of ornamentation away from traditional techniques and schooling allowing her to colour outside the lines of conventional silversmithing.

The themes she uses allows the wearer to adorn their bodies with their own interpretation, a deeper connection to thinly veiled places and hopefully discovering reflections of themselves within the works.

She priorities sustainable practices, recycled metals, high quality- ethically sourced components aswell as only working with local metalsmithing companies to bring a new holistic stance to crafting.

A sturdy yet playful collection that is created for you directly by her hands and her one employee in country NSW, Australia.
